Springdale blends the unique perspective of its multicultural student body with a highly respected history for graduating curious, creative critical thinkers who are simultaneously nurtured and challenged to become global citizens of our ever-changing world. Parents of international students take comfort in the fact that we encourage their sons and daughters to identify and pursue every opportunity to expand their academic horizons while also helping them experience and retain the life lessons that will serve them well in the years to come.
Our Middle and Upper School coed programs are offered for both boarding and day students in bucolic rural richness overlooking western Maryland’s Catoctin Mountains. The location is as conducive to self-reflection and inner growth as it is convenient to the cities of Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Md. Students regularly enhance their lessons in the classroom by organizing group outings to shows, plays, and other nearby cultural offerings. Those journeys are one of many ways our young people bond and become fellow travelers in pursuit of thought-provoking exposures in and around the community.
