(New Windsor, MD) –Springdale Preparatory School, the independent boarding and day school in New Windsor in Carroll County, Maryland, has received a Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) grant from the Rural Maryland Council to establish a greenhouse on its academic campus, located at 1000 Green Valley Road. (New Windsor, MD) – The Springdale Preparatory School Lions inaugural girls’ varsity basketball team brought home the championship trophy from the Hill School Tournament last weekend in Pottsdown, Pa. In the opening round, Springdale bested Oldfields School, 57-40. Savannah Brooks led the Lions with 17 points and Libby Kiley added 10. Springdale took the final game against the host school, by a convincing 63-26 margin.
