What Are the Requirements to Be Awarded an International Baccalaureate Diploma?

At our private school in Maryland, students who graduate need to satisfy all of the requirements set by the official International Baccalaureate program in order to receive an IB diploma. Students will complete two years of specialized study, including core curriculum (Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Action and Service) and at least one class for each of the six subject groups in the program: Language A, Language B, Individuals and Societies, Experimental Sciences, Mathematics and The Arts.
