What Are the Requirements for Graduation at Our IB Private School?

All students who complete the IB program at our private school in Carroll County, MD will earn an IB diploma and a Maryland high school diploma. All students need to complete two years of dedicated IB study, including the core curriculum: Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Community, Action and Service. Students will also be required to complete one or more courses in each IB subject group: Language A, Language B, Individuals and Societies, Experimental Sciences, Mathematics and The Arts. After students pass their exams and complete their essays, they will earn points towards their IB diploma. To earn the diploma, they must earn at least 24 points out of the 45 possible.
