
11 May Inaugural Donor Gala Raises $10,000 for SPS Supporting Potential Scholars Fund
(New Windsor, MD) – Springdale Preparatory School, the area’s newest and most unique independent and day school, celebrated and raised funds at its inaugural gala, Reach for the Stars, on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Seibel Farm in New Windsor.

More than 100 business leaders, political leaders, community members and prospective and current families joined Springdale Preparatory School leaders and faculty in celebration of the area’s newest independent school program. Support from 21 sponsors, advertisers and individual ticket sales raised $10,000 that will benefit the Springdale Preparatory Supporting Potential Scholars Fund (SPSF) in partnership with the Carroll Community Foundation. The scholars fund helps avail students to incredible growth opportunities, enables SPS to maintain a socioeconomically diverse student population which benefits the school culture, and supports off-campus learning experiences while connecting students to global peers and instructors. In its first year, Springdale Preparatory School provided $190,650 in financial aid to Carroll County families, with an average award of $12,363.
