What Are the Requirements of the IB Program?

In order to receive a diploma from our IB school in Owings Mills, MD with an International Baccalaureate diploma, a student needs to complete two years of relevant study. This includes both the IB core curriculum and one course relating to each of the six subject groups: Language A, Language B, Individuals and Societies, Experimental Sciences, Mathematics and The Arts. The IB core curriculum consists of three classes that must also be completed: Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Community, Action and Service.
