Donor Gala Raises $15,000 for Springdale Supporting Potential Scholars Fund

(New Windsor, MD) – Springdale Preparatory School, the area’s newest and most unique independent boarding and day school, celebrated and raised funds at its annual gala, A Night Around the World, held earlier this month.

More than 100 business leaders, political leaders, community members and prospective and current families joined Springdale Preparatory School leaders and faculty in celebration of the independent school program. Support from sponsors, advertisers and individual ticket sales raised $15,000 that benefits the Springdale Preparatory Supporting Potential Scholars Fund (SPSF) in partnership with the Carroll Community Foundation. The scholars fund helps avail students to incredible growth opportunities, enables SPS to maintain a socioeconomically diverse student population which benefits the school culture, and supports off-campus learning experiences while
connecting students to global peers and instructors.

The gala featured a silent auction for antiques, collectibles, handcrafted items, time shares, memberships, event tickets, services, gift cards and other valued items, a buffet featuring delicacies from around the world and dancing to live music.
